Cancellation Policy

Effective date: May 5, 2025

1. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Stave subscription at any time — no questions asked. To cancel:

  1. Go to Account → Billing in the app.
  2. Click Cancel subscription and confirm.

Alternatively, email support@stave.app with the subject "Cancel Subscription" from the address linked to your account and we will process the cancellation within one business day.

2. What Happens After Cancellation

  • Access until end of period: your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are made after that date.
  • Downgrade to free tier: after the billing period ends your account reverts to the free tier, with the standard weekly upload limit.
  • Your data: your account and any saved preferences are retained. We do not automatically delete your account on cancellation.

3. Reactivating a Cancelled Subscription

You can resubscribe at any time from the Account → Billing page. Your previous settings and preferences will still be there.

4. Deleting Your Account

Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account. If you wish to have your account and personal data permanently removed, email support@stave.app with the subject "Delete My Account". We will complete deletion within 30 days. Some data may be retained longer where required by law (e.g. payment records).

5. Refunds on Cancellation

Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please see our Refund Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect.
